Vixens of Vogue are a soulful mix of 3 voices who have been involved in the entertainment industry for the last 9 years. Bringing a classy party atmosphere to any function or event, you are sure to be impressed by their professional attitude and stunning stage performance.
Having worked individually for different bands in the UK and abroad, Kelly, Gabriella and Lucy first met singing in Vocal Works Gospel Choir, and now bring their experience and passion for music together in a new and exciting trio.
These three young experienced and talented female vocalists aim to bring you a taste of Soul, Funk and Popular music from the 60's right through to the present day. Guaranteed to get you dancing and singing along they bring you their versions of songs by artists such as Aretha Franklin, The Supremes, Four Tops and Labelle to Amy Winehouse, Adele, Cee Lo Green, Lady Ga Ga and and Duffy.
Kelly began her singing at the age of 8 years old where she obtained a repertoire of classical and musical theatre qualifications including ALCM in Musical Theatre, she then went on to gain a BTEC national diploma in Performing Arts at Filton College and from there progressed her training, studying at Bristol Academy Of Performing Arts for three years. Kelly also has LAMDA gold medal for Acting and various dance awards including Tap, Jazz and Ballet.
Since leaving Bristol Academy of Performing Arts Kelly has toured the UK singing lead vocals with "The No 1 Show" a popular theatre show that covered number one hits throughout 50's 60's and 70's. Kelly also performed in many venues including army barracks with her trio "kelly's heroes" She currently belongs to "Vocal works Gospel Choir" and performs at weddings and corporate events all over the country and recently featured on BBC children in needs album, in addition to this has also performed alongside the legendary Mary Wilson. She can also be seen performing lead female vocals with a 6 piece Soul band "Groove Train"
Kelly has a powerful and versatile voice and is a delight to listen to, you will not be disappointed.
Gabriella studied Musical Theatre, Music Performance & Dance at St Brendans sixth form College earning Grade A in all three subjects. She has performed in several theatre productions including "A Chorus Line" playing the main role "Cassie" she also played the part of "Blousey" in "Bugsy Malone". As well as singing & dancing Gabriella also studied Piano to Grade 6. She started dance lessons at the age of three at the Dorothy Coleburn School of Dance in Bath and has Grade 6 in Ballet, Tap & Modern, and has been in a street dance group for the last 6 years called "TK Dance". Like Kelly she also belongs to "Vocal Works Gospel Choir" who are featured on three songs on the BBC's children in need Album, and has performed to Boris Johnson several times she also performs at weddings and corporate events throughout the U.K. Gabriella has a fantastic soulful voice and delights audiences everywhere.
Lucy began working in the entertainments industry as a coat entertainer with a prestigious UK holiday company. Having gained a 2:1 in BA (hons) degree in Performance/Writing at Dartington College of Arts, Lucy went on to study Musical Theatre at Bristol Academy of Performing arts to pursue her singing, acting and dancing interests, studying ballet, jazz and tap as well as building a strong vocal training. Lucy has worked for the famous Jumeriah Hotels as lead vocalist for a trio "Visionary" in Dubai, as well as lead show team vocalist for Sani Resort Hotels in Greece. Having since worked as Entertainments Manager, Lucy set up her own cabaret act in 2009 touring holiday parks, hotels and entertainment venues with her vocal and saxophone act, receiving great reviews. Lucy joined Vocal Works Gospel Choir in 2010, and now regularly performs at weddings and corporate functions with the choir throughout the UK. Bringing that extra special element of saxophone to the band this line-up is sure to please.
